Multimedia Projects
Multimedia storytelling is at the core of the work I do as a journalist and communicator. In today's world, most stories are incomplete without including a multimedia aspect, be it a short video, podcast, animation, or something else entirely. I am most passionate about video and audio production, including producing, shooting, scriptwriting and editing. Here you will find a sample of my recent multimedia journalism projects.

Environmental Justice News Video
In this video, I explore the detrimental environmental impact of the meatpacking industry by looking at one small town woman's story of the way pollution from the improper disposal of animal waste ruined her family's land, drinking well, and peace of mind. This was created for Dr. Imani Cheers' Journalism Capstone Spring 2021 course at GWU using an iPhone camera and Premiere Pro editing software.

Social Justice Podcast
In today's episode of the Gen Z Feminist, we're discussing the feminist theory of the 'male gaze', introduced by Laura Mulvey, that dominates so many women's lives and encourages them to present themselves as objects of sexualization meant to be enjoyed by the heterosexual male eye. I spoke with Regina Brennan, a self-proclaimed feminist and Hill staffer in her last year of college at Catholic University, who feels that the male gaze has had an extremely detrimental impact on her life. This podcast was created using Adobe Audition in Spring 2021 as part of a series for my GWU senior capstone course.

A short documentary video created by myself and two other students in a video production class at GW. The students equally split all parts of the process, including pre-production, filming, and editing. (Created using Panasonic video equipment and Premiere Pro editing software.)
